It all started in 2019 when Alice and Matt matched on Tinder. What seemed like a simple match turned into something pretty special. Matt, keen to meet Alice, spent the next couple of weeks convincing her to go on a date. Little did he know, it’d be the only time Alice ever showed up on time! As things were getting serious, the world changed with the arrival of Covid. Faced with lockdowns, Matt moved in with Alice’s parents, Jane and Paul, for what was meant to be a short stay. But six months later, they were ready for the next big step—buying their first home in Keyingham to start their future together. Not long after, their family grew with the arrival of two rescue cats, Monty and Mila, who added even more love, laughter, and chaos to their lives.

In 2023, Matt totally surprised Alice when he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him—adding a sweet “please” to make it even more perfect. With a huge smile, Alice said yes, and so began the next chapter of their love story.
